| EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITION |
Soon after conclusion of the function, Maulana Syed Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi (May he live long), inaugurated an educational exhibition in the conference Hall of the Jamea Organized by Sahibzada Shoukat Ali Khan, Director of Arabic and Persian Research Institute, Tonk, It was greatly appreciated by one and all. |

| SEERAT MEETING |
After the Isha Prayers a meeting on the seerat of our Prophet (PBUH) was held. It was presided over by Maulana Hakim Mufti Ahmad Hasan Khan Saheb. Maulana Mohammed Rabey Hasani and Maulana Syed Mohammad Salman Husaini spoke on various aspects of the seerat. The meeting concluded at about mid-night with prayers. |

| SEMINAR |
The next day, Monday 9 th Dec. 1985 a seminar was held in the Central Hall of the Jamea Hostel. Distinguished intellectuals and academic and academicians from various modern universities and religious institutions of the country read papers on different subjects of academic interest. The assemblage of modern and religious intellectual on the same platform was a unique feature of the Jamea. Besides the above papers, Prof. Manzoor Ahmad of Jamea Millia Islamia, New Delhi presented his papers in English. Maulana Atiq Ahmad Qasmi of Vapi (Dist. Balsar, Gujrat) could not present his papers:" Jamea-Tul-Hidaya is not merely a Center of Education and Learning but a Torch of Enlightment too."
Mr. Syed Hashim Ali, Vice-Chancellor, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh was the Chief Guest. He delivered a very comprehensive and taught provoking speech on "The Educational syllabi and the Modern demands." Like the previous day the Seminar concluded with a speech of Maulana Abdur Rahim and prayers. |

| INAUGURATION OF TEACHING |
Thanks to Allah, the Jamea, witnessed the auspicious day which was the out-come of prayers at dawn and at midnight of Maulana Mohd.Abdur Rahim. The 11th of Moharram, 1407 (17th sept. 1986) witnessed the rising of a sun of learning and education that lightened the entire Jamea. It was on this day that a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Maulana Abdur Rahim in which beside others, Maulana Abul Irfan, professor department of Shariah, Nadvatul Ulama, Lucknow delivered the inaugural speech and made a beginning of education of newly admitted student with a few sentences on piety. | STUDENTS ASSOCIATION |
On 26th Muharram 1407 AH (2nd October 1986 A.D.) two association of student viz. "Al-Nadi-Al-Arabi" and "Anjuman Al-HIDAYA" were inaugurated. The main object of these two associations was to promote interest among the students for writing and speaking in Arabic and Urdu languages. In his inaugural speech in Arabic, Maulana Zia-ur Rahim welcomed the students and impressed upon them the desirability of developing the capacity of speaking and writing in these two languages. The Jamea very soon became popular among intellectuals. On 17-18, Jamadi ll,1407 (Feb. 1987) a seminar on 'islamic literature and western literary movements, was held under the auspices of the association of Islamic literature which was attended by eminent India and foreign scholars. |

| INAUGURATION OF WELDER-CUM-FITTER TRAINING |
Thanks to ALLAH : the Jamea's plan of coordinating the technical education with religious learning was launched on 5th Zil-hijah, 1407 A.H. (lst aug. 1987). Prof. Zia-ul Hasan, principal, Muslim University polytechnic presided over the inaugural function held after Isha prayer. The training programme for welder-cum-fitter was formally inaugurated by Maulana Abdul Rahim himself. He spoke in his characteristic way about moral and spiritual values and the function concluded with prayers. On this occasion Prot. Ziaul Hasan distribute prizes to meritorious students who had passed the first Jamea examinations. |

| INAUGURATION OF ENGLISH ASSOCIATION |
To provide opportunity for speaking and writing English competitions on 'English Association' was started on Tuesday, 15 th Zil-Qadah, 1408 A.H. (30th June 1988). Maulana Zia-ur Rahim Nadvi presided over the function and explained the importance of the Association. |

| INAUGURATION OF ENGLISH-CUM-WIREMAN, TRAINING |
