The institution's establishment was preceded by extensive discussions with notable Islamic scholars like Hazrat Maulana Syed Abulhasan Ali Nadvi over a period of about 25 years. It aims to address the challenges faced by the Muslim community in India, including economic, educational, and political disparities, as well as the preservation of their faith in the face of external pressures.
